Apparently it's a zoonotic disease, how it spreads it's currently not known (or at least it's not made clear or there are discrepancies in how it spreads) but you're more likely to get it of you come into contact with certain types of exotic animals. Therefore vets or people who work in zoos dealing with such animals on a daily basis might risk coming into contact with the virus.
