Zombies in live action work fine, there's no reason why RE can't.

Some of the Milla movies were fine as like, dumb B movies, so that's not terrible, and the animated movies don't do anything that can't be done in live action and are fine.

Its just a pre-established name, and apparently its too easy to take a known franchise and half ass it instead of like, trying. Its not like its particularly hard to make a zombie movie anyways, like 90% of them are the same.

The plot is just shit

I thought Raccoon City was alright but they did too much in the one film. Should have focused on the mansion or Birkin/Raccoon City.

yeah but that requires a good director/producer

99% of these production companies that get their hands on the RE IP are doing it for a paycheck and dont give a fuck about how the final product turns out
