Was charging it overnight and when I woke up It was hot enough to burn me and was lightly smoking. Tried to pull it out(the smoke was too faint to see without being really close) and immediately dropped it from pain. I am amazed my phone still charges(using different charger) ... I had one that had that braided stuff on the outside that had gotten a little frayed from regular use, and I picked it up one day and the frayed part was glowing. Saw a little wisp of white smoke and unplugged it immediately. ... Copied to Clipboard!
