The sad part is, if I was ever in that situation, depending on the person who did it and what media he consumed, I wouldn't even be a victim. Instead I'd be a paid actor and somehow that pisses me off even more.

Live in the state where a white supremacist fucker shot up a black church, so yeah a little concerned.

Mass shooters should be the ones worried about me.

I grew up in the ghetto. Wasn't concerned about catching a stray from some shitbag gang scum popping shots at each other every few days, sure not concerned about the statistically insignificant chance of getting caught up in a mass shooting.

Concerned? Not at all. In fact I look forward to this inevitability. I'd be glad if I die by shooting. There's many other worse ways to die.

Can't blame you, that's a terrifying situation to be in. I'm glad you survived that awful experience.

If you're in a supermarket just follow the employees. They're gonna know the quickest way out better than anyone.

Luckily no one was injured. It was during covid so I was waiting on line to get in a store at the mall and two shit heads a few stores down got an argument and pulled guns on each other. So it was not really a mass shooting, but in the moment you have no idea about that. You just hear gunshots and everyone starts running.

Nope. It's a possibility, but the most I can do is be aware of my surroundings, whenever I'm out and about. Being constantly concerned about it will just make life unenjoyable.

Im not extremely concerned (likely because thats just how Im wired) but this latest one shook me up a bit. If I had been in that grocery store I would have been a target.

I dont spend a lot of time thinking about it, but the fact that there are people out there that dont know me and want me dead because of my skin color is unsettling to say the least.

Literally anytime I go out in public it crosses my mind but Ive learned to live with it unfortunately

It's not something I can just ignore anymore, so yeah, it's a constant worry.

I work for USPS so I should be but ehh...
