He never even came close to losing. Never even put in a fathom of losing.

Now let's not get crazy he's a pretty shitty person lol. But as far as boxing he was pretty much the perfect boxer.

I was thinking more of his ability to set up fights and navigate the field. He's not a likeable dude

I don't watch boxing but from what everyone says, he's a very technical & defensive boxer which makes for some rather boring fights.

Yeah this, there are other boxers with more wins than him, but what made Floyd to be the highest paid athlete was that he always plays the bad guy. He would showboat, gloat, and overall be a total piece of shit personality at being the best that it makes more people want to watch his match so the "hero" could take him down, and no one has been able to get close to it (other than Castillo, and Floyd still won the rematch). Plus what Floyd outboxing is really not easy to do at all. In most cases, going against a heavy hitter that is an in-fighter would mean all they have to do is land one lucky punch for a KO. Mayweather maybe a piece of shit, but he's a master of his art. It's all science, hit while not being hit. His matches maybe boring as shit to watch to a casual watcher, but being able to pull off what Mayweather does in practice is harder than you think. It requires massive amounts of stamina, reflexes, and reads to do what he does.

He had the unbeatable strategy of turning around because punches to the back of the head are illegal so basically no one could ever hit him.

I agree. My biggest problem with him is that he usually dodged opponents till they were past their prime. I think if him and Pacquiao had fought 5 years prior I think it might have been Pac-man that came out on top, but it's all theoretical.

Arguably the GOAT.

Without argue the most defensively sound fighter to ever step into the ring.
