From what I understood, that was actually Inafune's idea, and when it was first conceived, Mega Man was in a relatively good place, so this could have been taken as an injoke. But soon after, all of the announced Mega Man games got cancelled, Inafune left Capcom, and they revealed BBA Mega Man for SFxT, which given the cancellations left a bad taste in fans' mouths. --- I often wonder if we are growing as a people... or in fact, regressing. ...
