I have not voted, though I will say the way you framed that question is weird, as in leading (Aka biased).

It would be similar to:

Actually... you'd be disappointed to know that this website has its fair share of incel types that would absolutely celebrate this kind of thing.

Most of them just aren't saying it outloud to avoid being modded.

Im pro choice but Ive always found the argument that abortion rights fall under protection of the 14th amendment to be pretty flimsy. So while Im not okay with the implication of its repeal I cant really say it shocks me.

This isnt a matter of opinion. Either you are for body autonomy or you are not. There is a morally correct choice and a morally incorrect choice, objectively. It actually is just that simple in this case. Theres no grey area.

@Gladius_ How do you reconcile the fact that many pro-life supporters are women?
Are they only practicing their rights correctly if their views coincide with yours?

Btw, I do think the body autonomy issue is the best argument on the pro-choice side.

It won't end there, they'll go after same sex, interracial and anything that will harm and be cruel against women and minorities. The repubs know they can get away with it now since they know they'll be rewarded for it and won't get punish.

@Gladius_ good post, I think people just don't want to entertain the idea that someone can and is self hating and will vote against their own self interest.

It doesn't matter that a group isn't a monolith, what matters is people from that group stepping on other members to keep them down to please someone outside (like candace owens, larry elder etc)

Hey, I respect that you admit that. For what's it's worth it's not like pro choice people like abortions; it's not something anyone wants to have happen. It's just something that has value as an option. I recommend reading about how abortion rights are important; if you really want to reduce abortions things like sex ed, free contraceptives and support of low income families are more important than abortion bans.

obviously not -- i've always said that treating the situation like you can outright prevent it is idiotic and puts people into danger.

no matter how you feel about it, it's not going away, and limiting access to safe and sterile environments and things like counseling afterward only contribute to the danger and stigma.

If you have an ectopic pregnancy you basically have to pray for a miscarriage if you can't get an abortion. It's like a super Saiyan kidney stone and it will kill you.

This. And to distinguish between an abortion and a miscarriage is difficult. This would criminalise women who have a miscarriage: and that's a hell of a lot of women. 1 in 4 pregnancies end in miscarriages. The whole thing is insane. Valuing grown women less than a collection of cells is really crazy.

Logically, abortions can't be banned, so overturning Roe v. Wade is pointless at best, and downright evil at worst.

As the saying goes, the cruelty is the point.
