This is the problem I have with enlightened centrism. They don't seem to understand the extreme left hold little to no power, so the vocal 'extremists' are only yelling to like 100 people in Twitter.

Meanwhile there are politicians on the right that still don't see the 2020 election as a fair one. Centrists are the stupidest fucking people.

This. Red states are passing weird as fuck bills that are overstepping authority and deciding on humans rights due to their own personal beliefs rather than whats good for everyone.

People seem to be more mad over this political divide because the team they have chosen, the Republican Party, has changed drastically but they themselves havent changed. So it puts a lot of typical conservatives always on the defensive.

In the old days if something like this happened a new party would emerge but the system doesnt work like that now.

This is a post about the dichotomy of American politics and is making fun of the people complaining about the "extreme" leftists. It being one-sided is the point, that is American politics. One side is uniquivically the bad guy and the other only exists on Twitter.

Im realizing Im not a "both sides" person. It's just something people try to push me into when they don't know how to deal with people who aren't all one way. Anytime someone describes the "both sides" person, it wildly misses what I do. So, someone is wrong here out the 2.

Funding the police is a necessity to have a safe civilized society.

"Defund the police" was always a stupid line that should have never gained any traction, so of course that was the part that the right focused on to demonize it.

I'm all for sweeping police reform. We need to get the racists and criminals out of the police force, and swiftly punish and/or remove anyone in the future who falls into those categories.

I also don't agree that a tiny town in Bumfuck, Alabama needs a SWAT tank, spend that money on proper training instead.

The left: every cop is evil, rich people mean I shouldn't have to work, 2+2 doesn't have to equal 4, racism is to blame for everything, trust science blindly (unless they tell me I'm overweight), wealth is spending money, people should love sacficing for the greater good except for me.

The right: try and solve your own problem before begging for help, don't give blank checks to people with no concrete plans, don't mistake a science degree for flawless or uncomfortable, have some responsibility to care for your own life to avoid problems others have to pay for, hard days work won't kill you and helps others, you can't just decide immutable physical traits of you are wrong.
