I like this bill.

Finanicial literacy classes should be standard in all schools. Hopefully, it has lectures on student loans as well.

Can't give him credit yet, it is always possible the course doesn't teach kids properly or costs so much other stuff has to be cut to incorporate it into the curriculum.

If it is bad I'm sure we will get articles popping up about how people's lives or educations were ruined by it eventually

This is good. I wish I had taken a financial literacy class in high school. It would have saved me a lot of pain in my late teenage years.

I don't want to be overly negative and I will certainly give credit if it's legitimate but I'm waiting for the catch. I can't help but think there are strings attached, like someone working on behalf of financial institutions to influence the curriculum in a way that funnels more people into their services.
