There's all types of people in this world

Maby they can't afford it. Mouthwash costs way more than toothpaste for some reason.

I don't use any fluoride. Not in toothpaste or rinse. Baking soda, xylitol, cetylpyridinium chloride. My teeth are pristine, never had a cavity. Avoiding refined carbs helps too, of course.

I look at people who use mouthwash as if theyre from another planet. Pick mouthwash or brushing. Doing both barely makes a difference.

NHS advises us to use mouthwash "later" or at a different time of the day to brushing.

There's studies now that mouth wash can increase risk of diabetes now..

It's not necessary, infact you might do more harm to your health using mouth wash (especially excessively).

After all your body NEEDS TO have bacteria/fungi to survive...

You shouldnt mouthwash. The alcohol in most solution is carcinogenic for oral and throat cancers if used chronically. Also, mouthwashes kill a lot of your healthy oral bacteria which are protective.

According to the American Dental Association, it doesn't matter whether you use mouthwash before or after brushing. Both are equally effective. The sequence in which you brush, floss and rinse makes no difference as long as you do a thorough job and use quality products.

The fluoride in a fluoride rinse incorporates into the enamel coating of your teeth, and it can help protect against cavities in people who are susceptible. Even though a proper amount of fluoride is important for adults, it can be especially crucial for children. Fluoride helps prevent and reverse early stages of tooth decay by strengthening tooth enamel and allowing teeth damaged by acid from plaque to re-mineralize themselves.

Remember, a mouthwash or a fluoride mouth rinse should be used after you finish your tooth brushing and flossing routine. Also, keep in mind that mouthwashes or mouth rinses are not recommended for children younger than 6 years old, because kids that age may be inclined to swallow the rinses rather than spit them out.

I use mouthwash before brushing. Floss, mouthwash, brush.

Thats not the ADA its Wekiva Dental. Its not saying fluoride mothwash but normal mouthwash. And plenty of them are ADA approved with ALL of them directing you to use it after brushing.

This is a foundational disagreement and this goat dominance ritual isn't going to actually change anything.

Fluoride factually needs to be the last thing you apply whether in a toothpaste, rinse or mouth wash. After using it you have to leave it alone for 30 mins. Brushing after using it in a mouthwash will negate it and remove it.

Its really depressing im explaining fluoride to CE
