I cant imagine that they will be adding ads to high-level plans, so unless youre on the basic plan that doesnt even have HD it probably wont effect you.

I wonder how many will unsubscribe because of this and if the money they get from advertisers will be enough to be worth losing people. At the very least it seems like they won't incorporate ads at the current price, they'll add cheaper options that include ads.

but you know why people tolerate that with tubi? because tubi is free!!!

It says it would just be lower priced with ads, but they could easily pull a Hulu and the "ad free" tiers still have limited ads on specific popular shows.

I think it's worth it though considering the selection of shows and movies.

$20 a month isn't that bad and certainly not the worst thing to spend $20 on a month.

Netflix Originals average out to be not great, or will be shit canned after a couple seasons and any quality non-originals get slowly swallowed up by other services.

Netflix's cheapest plan already charges more than other streaming services, and now they're trying to add commercials to it and force us to buy the higher priced plan?
