Probably not. You just come off as more invested in the plot than the gameplay.
If you beat him on DMD by exhausting a fully stocked heap of items, you'd probably get the "Hahaha what are you even doing with your time or trying to prove?" responses.

As a person who hasn't played DMC, what is the significance of a Gold Orb? Is it just like a full heal item? Or a nuke?

When you die, it lets you continue from where you died with a new health bar

Basically if you die, it revives you with full health in the middle of a fight. If you use one in DMC, you usually bring a lot of shame onto yourself lol

real champs are supposed to turn it down. They are generally also limited, which is why people refuse to use them

5 is easy. Style switcher, DSD homing swords, hilariously overpowered money gun hat, can be combod in the air, final boss borrows moves from the crap reboot that bring his difficulty way down compared to 3. Remember how Vergil would just walk slowly to one side and throw one summoned sword at a time like he wasn't even trying in that game? Not here. 3 is the best one.
And that's the just the final boss, the rest of 5 is even easier.

1's the only other one that might obstruct you a bit. And that's just if you played 3-5 first, causing it to feel weird going back to such a comparatively limited character.

Apparently the US version of DMC 3: Dante's Awakening (normal) is actually the hard mode of Japan.

I recall barely getting by the final boss. But I did.

I honestly like 1 a lot. Its simplicity and RE atmosphere is still fun to me

1 is great, it just becomes kind of an acquired taste after you've experienced styles and the over the top stuff.

nah, if it's something in the game that's available without cheats/glitches then it's all good.

If you don't beat DMC3 on the hardest mode with your eyes closed and with out taking a single hit, that's just sad. What are you even doing? Why are you even playing a game if you're not going to spend thousands of hours mastering every single aspect? Are you trying to have FUN or some thing?!

Im assuming this is Vergil 3rd fight? Yeah its ok. I remember doing that as a kid after i died to him a bunch of times.
