Depends. Bad hair day? Knit cap. Beach/garden party? Straw hat or boater.

Good hair day with no wind or rain? Let the scalp breathe, brother.

If I'm going to be out in the sun for extended periods I put on my dumb floppy pastel fishing hat because I am balding and don't want the top of my head to burn.

But otherwise I never wear one.

Only when they're part of a uniform. I wore one as part of my high school uniform (military school, so I was jrotc) and in all of my pizza delivery jobs.

Yes. If I know I'm going to be outside for like 15 minutes or more and the sun is out, I put on a hat.

Ive never worn a hat in public. Im in my 30s but I have a baby face that makes me look in my 20s. Anytime I wear a hat I look like a little kid going to his first ball game. Thankfully I was blessed with good genes that gives me a full, thick, set of hair.

I have a round face and wearing hats never looked good on me.

When I skip a shower

Yep. Rotate between my Blue Jays, Red Wings and AC/DC hats quite frequently.

i like wearing boonie and bucket hats, but i only wear them in summer months. and then obv in winter i wear caps cus it gets between -10F and 0F where i live in december.

I am when I don't have my hair grown out long.

Only to keep hair out of my face when working in the yard.

I wear beanies every now and again but thats about it.

I generally don't like wearing them but I need a cap to protect my skin if it's sunny (skin cancer risk).

I do like the look of knit caps/beanies but my head usually gets sweaty when I wear them.

I have very long hair and have taken to wearing beanies regularly. It's a weird look.

I have long hair so when I'm lazy I wear a hat I guess.

I like to wear a wide brim hat if I'm working outside. But it's rare for me to wear a regular ball cap.

I shave my head a couple times a year, so a hat is somewhat necessary to avoid sunburns

I tend to only wear them when I go to ball games
