12 is one of my favorites so yeah I remember her. She's the most forgettable of the cast though.

I actually kinda agree with him that Wonder Woman looks better muscular.

Penelo's plot relevance is minimal, but at least she has the dignity to blend into the background for most of the game. Vaan on the other hand continues to force himself into cutscenes for the duration of the game and drag everyone else down with him.

Fran is obviously the Chewie to Balthier's Han, so her meager relevance to the plot was actually more than she ought have had.

Basch is honestly the one who got done dirtiest. Of course his plot development was hamstrung right out of the gate with the whole 'evil twin' angle.

Ashe is probably supposed to be the 'true' main character, but her entire plot development revolves around the moral dilemma of whether or not she'll use magical atomic warfare to smite her enemies. Um...no, I think we can all say with confidence that she won't end up doing that.

Balthier is the true true main character. Best lines, best backstory, best development, most relevance to the plot by the endgame.

Gonna stick my Penelo in your Ashe!

whenever a character levels up i take them out of my party and put someone else in
but i almost always control either balthier and penelo because those are my 2 favorites
balthier because he is just a terrific character
and penelo just cause i like her design overall

then for the final boss i have penelo in my party but control balthier

I play a lot of bad games. In that conversation, which was multiple posts back and forth, I was saying that I play many bad games, and when you play as many bad games as I do, mediocre games don't seem so bad. If not for saying the S-word, why would that get modded? It's very dangerous for me to post on certain boards. Some boards have borderline nude pics, others get modded for drawings in bikinis, some boards openly talk about loli crap, others get modded for even saying that word. I have no idea what the guidelines are at this point. I've decided to rarely post, and when I do post, I'll be as milquetoast as possible.

I think bad games are more fun than mediocre ones because they give you something to talk about

What ages a picture? Does a picture have an age? Can I just draw her and say she's 24 since it's an original drawing? I'm so confused about what's acceptable about drawings? It's dangerous to even discuss it, but I would like to know. I can draw pretty good, I enjoy it. Just drawing the Teen Titans in their canon outfits with super hero poses gets attacked. Do I need a disclaimer saying it's original art with an age I've made up to be acceptable?

What about my question about drawing the characters aged up? What if I made a drawing of Penelo when she's 21 getting drunk for her birthday?

I'm aware, but the fact of the matter is some people aren't. And there are plenty of boards where that kind of stuff goes unmoderated, leading to people thinking it's alright.

I get all that. At least on this board. The sexy girl board accepts many things not acceptable here it seems, also the anime boards are more lenient than this board. I don't post much on this board, you regulars probably know that, I really didn't know it was so strict. I literally took the picture from another topic that never had anything modded. It really depends on the board you're posting on.

So what about my other question? If I have artwork of Penelo and Vaan many years later after marriage and having kids, they still can't be in provocative poses?

Edit: Can we even discuss the making of the artwork process? Like how many of us start with a skeleton and build the anatomy up, basically drawing nude characters before clothing them. I feel like that would also be taboo to discuss on this board.

I didn't know that. I guess I got an invite at some point that I forgot. I took that picture from a ps4 topic though. We had like 1500 posts of sexy artwork in a running topic on that board. WAY more explicit stuff, in those topics, than allowed here.

Yeah the private and community boards have their own mods appointed by the board leader though enough complaints and Allen will close them.

Thanks for helping me understand. I am a complete newbie to this board. I am not aware of its ways. I tried posting here because its super active, but I had no idea what I was walking into.

Edit: I just don't see artwork the same as many of you. Maybe because I draw a lot myself and I do go through a process of creating the anatomy, and messing with the craziest most outrageous poses I can think of or find references for. Many different body styles just for the variety and practice. I'm not saying what is right or wrong, just different experiences and views of the artwork. My view is not compatible here, on this board, and that's fine. Everywhere has their own community. Some art focused websites have many nude drawings of many characters done for training and critiquing that would never be allowed here.

I'll just adjust appropriately for the community I'm interacting with. I just wish maybe there had been a discussion or explanation before the hammer came down. But it's OK. Lesson learned and I'm better for it.

Its cool, wish I actually had any art skills to speak of lol.
