I'm trying to think of a single Square Enix PC port that was better than mediocre.
The closest I can think of is DQ Builders 2, but even that is pretty middling.

It's not great.

The PS5 version is still the best way to play it.

Official Fujin of the Mortal Kombat 11 board. Trails of Cold Steel is the most underappreciated JRPG series ever.

Beaten it a month ago on PC, ran fine for the most part, no bugs or crashes or anything other than some hitches here and there, solid port imo

FFXIV PC is really good.

FF9 PC is also good.

I haven't played it but I haven't heard anything bad about FFX/X2 either.

And the Trials of Mana PC port is apparently really good.

I wouldn't really call FFXIV a port, considering PC was the primary platform even from the onset. But it definitely is good, although you would expect that for an online game that has been out as long as it has.
