At this point I'm legitimately surprised they just didn't go with the humanoid dinosaur idea. As dumb as an idea as it sounds it's way too "easy" of an idea to never follow up on. If the Fast and the Furious series can deviate so far away from its original movies why can't the next Jurassic trilogy?
