Does it have the same mass as our Sun? (Unlikely)

Either way, we would be dead, either due to the lack of heat, the radiation from the black hole, or just being sucked into the singularity (or all three).

I would be extremely relieved.

pretty terrified, as that doesn't follow the laws of physics at all.

The odds of another getting that close are low. The galaxy Andromeda is actually flying towards us really fast but itll be like a billion years or so before it gets here.

not actually sure. however, depending on the size of the black hole (maybe even by this point) time would start to slow down on earth due to the speed it's spinning around the black hole.

it's not about speed in this case, just mass/gravity. also, you wouldn't notice anyway.

It'd take a while to eat the whole sun, we'd notice the change in light after a few minutes as everything red-shifts. It'd also get noticeably cooler in that time. Most plants would die off in a few weeks, animals a couple of weeks later, followed by us humans maybe a month after that.

We'd all be dead if a black hole even entered our system, long before it did anything to our sun. The planetary orbits would perturb and we'd freeze, then cook, then freeze, then cook, over and over as our orbit became more elliptical.

The earth gets sucked up.....and we emerge in a different universe. The first thing we pick up on radio waves out in space is "Somehow Palpatine has returned...."

If we're going to die, we might as well go near the event horizon. The time dilation would let you see the universe and time pass by for millions/billions of years in an....instant I'm guessing. What a sight that would be.
