I listen to it and I'm only 31, so I guess my answer would be a no.

also gen-xers who got sick of 80s music.

I was born over 30 years later than the youngest boomers were and classic rock is one of my favorite kinds of music.

Not an avid listener, but I blast TNT by ACDC from time to time. Brings back memories of playing THPS4

The average classic rock band/song is definitely miles better than the average thing the music industry coughs out these days. There was also more stuff that was consistently good back then, as opposed to someone scoring a lucky hit every now and then.

No. Boomers were mostly born in the 1940s and 1950s. The average age on CE is like mid 30s

I'm 33 and it's pretty much all I listen to (with a few exceptions). The station I catch doesn't play anything new, though. Just the classics. From what I've read, it's a 70's style station. Very, very few commercials. No talk show. Just music. Tons of it live recordings. I've literally listened to it for almost two hours before and heard maybe three minutes of commercials. I listen to it every day and there's usually always something on that I've never heard before.

I guess I'm old at heart, because there's nothing I love more than to sit on the porch and listen to the radio. When I drank beer, I'd sometimes sit out there for hours drinking beer and listening to music.

Most new music is less than ideal in my opinion. There's a show I catch on my shortwave radio every Wednesday night that has new stuff. Radio Northern Europe International (RNEI). Most of it is from small bands, some folk songs but lots of pop. I enjoy it because it's usually always new and the bands are very small. The transmitter is about a thousand miles from my location, so it's always fun to tune the radio to get the best signal. But it's also part of shortwave, having some fading and static. I catch a show from Belgium occasionally that plays all sorts of music. But, that's closer to several thousand miles away and depending on the day it's harder to catch a good signal.

What's with everyone shitting on classic rock now? People complain about old heads not liking new music, but it's cool to shit on old music?

The best music out there transcends both genre and generation.

For those saying it's bad, what don't you like? Can you honestly tell me that Baker Street is a bad song? Or Goodbye Stranger? Tuesday Afternoon? Night Moves? I could think of a host of others, but those are some of my absolute favorites.

Classic Rock songs are a part of my regular play lists, like classic rap.

It's acceptable to listen to while playing Tony Hawk games.
