Spent all this time digging for music notes in Gobi's Valley, only to realize that the last 8 are gated behind the flying dive bomb move.

That you can only get in Freezeezy Peak.

But to finish Freezeezy Peak you need the shoes from Gobi's Valley.

And of course the N64 doesnt save your note progress so if I want 100% Ima have to run through the whole stage again.

What you do is do everything in Frezeezy Peak except for the race which needs the shoes.
Then go do everything in Gobi's Valley.
Then go back at the end for that one race.

freezeezy peak just reminds of christmas and is so damn nostalgic

gobi's valley is just an awesome setting, the polar opposite of the last level(pun intended)

i even remember the game booklet describing it as out of the freezer and into the oven
