Like, do people just carelessly sign up for services they will never use or dont use their smartphones to remind then when a free trial ended?
Truebill is all over my youtube and its fascinating that a premium service exists to add to your other premium services just so you can cancel those other premium services with less buttons.

You would be surprised. I'll give you an example, the 3 major Credit monitoring companies: Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax - if you request a Credit Report they charge you $1 for it - BUT THEY ADD YOU TO THEIR MONTHLY LIST and will charge you $19.99 a month automatically until canceled.

Things like this you really don't know about until you see the charge on your card on the 31st day.

It's not always as easy as "Don't sign up for services if you don't wanna be charged" - a lot of places offer you a $1 thingy, and then once they have your Credit Card info, they charge you monthly.

I think a lot more people are bad with money than good, I see it all the time.
