Instead a road with a fallen tree pulls people in from different states (thus the license plates) and can appear anywhere. I'm also thinking the town might be a mental projection of a madman. At least that's what I got out of the "becomes a nightmare" conversation. --- No locked doors, no windows barred. No more things to make my brain seem SKARD.
