You have to request that you not be charged or you will automatically pay it. This state really went to shit under Polis, but it was going downhill years before he bought his way in. This gives you discounted prices at parks that used to be free to locals. Now we pay extra so out of staters can come here and litter and throw cigarette butts in the woods and generally leave the state worse off than it was before they came. --- So long, Thanks for all the fish! ...
