Great acting all around, fantastic casting especially with Cena and Elba(though I loved the whole cast). Cena especially was good

Movie was spectacularly bloody with great visuals. CGI didn't even look that bad, nothing I particularly noticed. It's nice to finally see Harley actually shine. Even Flag was done well!

Good movie, wholly recommend.

I really liked it too, a million times better than the first.

Now go watch the Peacemaker show

Yeah, it was a fun. But Cena doesn't truly shine till Peacemaker.

It wanted to be both, and delivered. Are movies only supposed to be one or the other? Because I don't think so.

Yeah that one thankfully rocked. Gunn was smart enough to call it THE Suicide Squad so we can foeget that last pos ever existed and the franchise can move on to Peacemaker and onwards.

That's because it was both

I liked the fake out in the beginning..was sad the guy from the first movie died. The antagonist was also slightly better with the multiple sides angle.

Yeah. It was pretty good.

The problem with the first movie is there was barely any content. The beginning is all flashy introductions and exposition dumps and then it shifts straight into snarky walk-and-talks for most of the rest of the run. The characters are barely established, mostly cookie-cutter and have 0 chemistry with one another (not even Harley and Joker have any FFS), so its hard to care about any of what theyre saying or doing.

The second movie has more action and pairs up the characters to give them someone to bounce off of, which improves things dramatically. Still not wild about Harley as a character in these movies in general, but giving her her own B-plot was a good way of compartmentalizing her goofy nonsense while still keeping her around for her fans.

I thought the movie was awesome. Way better than the first

I didn't realize there was a Suicide Squad 2. I rather see The Suicide Squad 2 though.

I didn't like the Harley scene with all the rainbow colors. There's just no way she could have escaped on her own like that. Everything else was fine and fun.
It was way better than the first.

It's like the clearest example I can think of of a sequel that completely fucking annihilates the original movie.

Ratcatcher 2 was awesome. She shined in that movie

Same deal with the Peacemaker show. It's great and gives Cena a chance to show his chops (without spoiling anything, there's no way I can see someone like the Rock doing some of the emotional beats in the show), but man there are a few scenes where someone needs to tell Gunn to stop
