Couple black people called me that in a friendly way, but it'd be kinda odd to call a white dude that slur in a hateful way.

Yes, but strangely none of my white friends started doing that shit until their 30s. I guess they use it ironically or whatever. I dislike it.

Probably. That word got thrown around a lot at school when I was a little kid, despite the fact that I'm fairly certain there were no black kids. I honestly think that most of the kids had no idea what the word meant.

Yes. I was a semi-pro boxer, and once after I (white) knocked out my opponent (black), an audience member (black) jumped up and louder then the rest of the crowd shouted and called me an n-bomb for beating the other guy.

My circle of friends in HS into college was a mix of Black and Hispanic guys and girls all working at the same amusement park, and being ha;f Italian/Half Puerto Rican, I was the "white guy" of the group. They all told me I could say it, but I just wasn't interested.

Usually the N word was used for anyone they didn't dig... white, black or any other.

At least a dozen times. Most recent was an old man in traffic. He was in the turning lane, we were at a red light. This was the day Trump was elected. Light changed and he shouted it at me out of the blue while turning. I laughed it off but my girlfirend was literally crying.

I remember two white guys fighting when I was in college, and one was clearly from the hood. He was just firing off the N word at the other guy, and even called him bitch ass white boy and cracker. Everyone was just confused about how to react.
