Basically, by early 2017 I've started playing XC for the Wii and I've only beat it march 17 of that year, a friday (and by coincidence my birthday). I was playing it for hours a day!

And wow, it was a great journey. The only game that took me 75 hours to reach the credits. The gameplay was fun enough for 70+ hours of playtime and the plot was also interesting.

One of those games it's hard to forget.

(Btw I've beat TTYD around the same time, another great gem)

I beat it much more recently but it does have that feel like it's going to stay with you for a while. I wish there was more in the game but I don't know what I'd want added exactly. Probably more areas or maybe some non-canon bonus characters just to have in the party for the sake of fun. I'm glad he's dead because he deserved it but it did have me wondering what it'd be like to play as Egil for a bit.
I'm really not sure if I want to go near the 2nd or 3rd games. As a self contained story I liked it a lot even if a few things bugged me.

Highly recommend playing X if you can get a Wii U. The concept is way different, it's more of an open world exploratory game over a linear character-driven narrative, but it's executed extremely well and IMO is the best of the 3

The Wii U game is X, not 2. But I agree that it has the best exploration out of the 3 games so far.

I played a lot of X recently and really enjoyed it. Once I get a Switch I'll play the main trio for sure

I got it over a month ago and I pretty much have to force myself to play it. I'm only on chapter 7 but its just not that interesting so far
