Hopefully my question makes sense.

Buy it for the PS4. It's not a next gen game visuals or performance wise, even on the PS5. On the PS4 it performs around as well as Dark Souls 3, which was okay. The PS4 version gives you access to the digital PS5 version whenever you do get your PS5(Still need to keep the PS4 disc to play it though.).

Cant you get it for both in one purchase?

Or was that a pre-order thing only?

Yes, but I think TC was debating about when he should buy and play the game and what console he should play it on. PS5 would obviously be better, but it wouldn't be a huge difference.

Basically. Due to lack of great exclusives it's basically a glorified PS4 Pro at the moment. Hardly any quality exclusives and a lot of the exclusives aren't selling as well as they should either. Sony seems like they are undergoing some hardship, especially with the Japanese market, their former primary demographic.
