It's a high protein/fat diet where you basically eat less than... I can't remember exactly, less than 30g(?) of carbs in a day. This forces your body into ketosis to burn your fat first.

It does work, but like all diets you immediately lose the benefits when you stop doing it.

but it's more that a lot of people with anxiety/depression/brain fog/feeling constantly tired/ feeling bad in general have reported feeling way better after changing their lifestyle to being healthier, diet being the main game changer, then exercise, then things like meditating proper sleeping hours exposure to sunlight etc

diet being eliminating sugar as much as possible, focusing more on vegetables and supplementing accordingly with vitamins etc (most common is taking zinc for example since most people have zinc deficiency)

Well, I have always been an exerciser, and I have a pretty good diet, but I do love sugar. I eat a candy bar at least once a day. Love me some candy.

do you really think that cutting out sugar would help with every day anxiety? Would it be easier to say.. order a sandwich from subway? The weirdest things give me anxiety. Im a bartender, so talking to people and stuff doesnt give me anxiety, but like.. the thought of being late to anything makes me feel like Im gonna have a panic attack. Or being next in line for something. Idk how to describe it.

maybe it'll help maybe not, there are a lot of studies and research that link what happens in the gut to the brain, i did a vegetable juice diet for some time and it helped with a lot of things, it just makes sense that eating more vegetables and getting what the body is missing would make you feel better, there are all kinds of tests you can do to figure out what exactly you need, go to the microbiome and candida subreddits they know more than me
