masterpug53 03/18/22 9:03:04 AM #68:	Played both cups this morning before work. I've never played Tour or any of the handheld entries, so Choco Mountain is the only one that isn't new to me. Ninja Hideaway is far and away the standout track, and can shoulder its way in among MK 8's best. Shroom Ridge was also quite fun. I like that the Paris and Tokyo tracks switch up the course slightly between laps. On the flip side, Toad Circuit is bland as hell even by 'beginner track' standards. Sky Garden's pretty eh, especially in comparison to the vastly superior Cloudtop Cruise. Coconut Mall's still nice, but isn't as fun as I remember it (some of the wildly intricate tracks that were original to MK 8 might have spoiled me here). Choco Mountain is...well, I haven't played MK64 in over 20 years and recently watched a vid of the old track on Youtube; my impression was 'wow, how did I ever find this exciting?' A graphical overhaul hasn't really improved that sentiment. (it should be noted that I raced them on 150cc the first time just to get used to them, and man oh man has 200cc ruined me, because it felt slow as shit - so my opinion on the more boring tracks might improve when I switch back to 200) All in all my initial impression hasn't changed much now that I've played them - fairly underwhelming first batch, but I'm cautiously optimistic that the future packs will be increasingly impressive.
