what's practice

O-Oh... So, what, only ExTha plays the game regularly?

Before the last tournament I was in, I probably didn't play since Mythra/Pyra came out.

Any time that I try and play and go on Elite Smash, because I live in Western Canada it takes 15 minutes to find a match and then the person leaves after one game because I play Duck Hunt and then I wait 15 minutes again.

It's actually fucking stupid.

I mean I can probably be your 8th if you really need someone but I haven't played any Smash that isn't Melee in... A long while.

I think I'll be home in time to make it tomorrow, but I'll wait until I get back to sign up. Also, if it gives us too many people, I don't mind dropping out.

It's the same friend code system as the 3DS, but borrows from the Wii U in that you can send friend requests directly to people you've played online.

You don't have to be friends with everyone to play though, you can just set up a room and send them the ID and pass to type in.

Those all refer to stages.

So after the first match (where one player strikes a stage, the second player strikes two stages, and the first player strikes one more stage which decides the fifth stage), there's the full list of stages (starters and counterpicks.) The winner of the match bans 3 stages from the list and then the loser picks from the modified list to play on.

I'm learning. Basically want to play a charge shot character that is actually good cause dealing with Robin's weaknesses gets old

nah ermine was Daisy and used her Up B backwards, she wont grab ledge if shes facing the wrong way

I did some practice battles to test my connection. The first one was fine, the second started fine then lagged halfway through, the third was really laggy throughout, and the fourth had a little bit of lag, not a lot but enough to notice it. Because of that, I'm afraid I'll have to drop out this time because I don't want to cause problems for the other players. I hope everyone enjoys themselves, and I'll see if I can join in next time!

Eating dinner now. Can't wait to shake off 4 months' worth of rust in a bit

Gavs, if you'd want to, I would definitely recommend getting a USB adapter for your Switch. The wired connection can make all the difference. Also very weird that this only started happening the last two weeks.
