Easily CNN. Both are spun in their direction but Fox is spun so hard you don't even know what the actual underlying news story is. With CNN at least you'll be informed if you ignore some of the spinning.

Define "truthful"

The answer is pretty much CNN but Fox News is pretty good at making "Factual Reports" that are so deeped in implication and messages that they are all but lies.

I.E

CNN: "Hiliary Clinton hires new Lawyer Jim Javies after previous lawyer retires."

Fox News: "CLINTON dynasty hires lawyer with previous experience as a public defender in child rape cases. Our Legal Expert Billy Poopface is here in the studio. What could this mean?

Billy Poopface: "Well you have to wonder if such a hiring could be related to some kind of charges that the Clintons know might be coming against them in the future. Also there are a lot of questions after their previous lawyer was rumored to have fled to Canada after speculation over Saudia Arabian money from unnamed sources."

I mean technically they didn't lie, they just added in a lot of random bullshit and "opinions" that set a clear narrative. Now in your mind Clinton's lawyers are dirty crooks who get pedos off the hook and are in bed in with Saudi Blood money, meanwhile the Clintons have some serious lawsuits heading their way for the serious crimes they commited... But they never actually said any of that did they? They just allowed you to join the dots in your mind

CNN is way better in that regard. But there's a reason why it's a lot harder to sue Fox News that other right wing outlets. They are extremely good at making obvious statements without directly stating anything.

CNN doesn't post fucking lies. They have their bias but it's quite clear when they are doing opinion pieces and when it's just news.

They also don't try to appease republicans and make no qualms about their stance on things like abortion and LGBTQIA+ rights.

If CNN does make a mistake, they post a retraction.

You are out of your mind if you think "CNN is just as bad as FOX"

It depends on the topics/current agenda which gets closer to the truth, but they aren't reliable at all.

I used to really like a couple programs on Fox Business but that's because they had guests that were actually intelligent. And they just had less spin/more honest debate and discussion. I'm not even sure if Fox Business is a thing anymore.

We need to remember, both companies are owned by parent companies that spew OPPOSITE bias on different platforms.

We must understand these aren't a reliable way to get news. They function more like propaganda networks. They themselves, according to several lawsuits, identify as "News Entertainment".

Kinda like how if you get to know someone from China they sort of ignore their major media networks because most of the general public there understands it's propoganda.

Fox is the GOP propaganda arm.
