I think togekiss is a rare example of a final evo added in a later generation that is clearly better looking imo

I feel there's one in most of the starter sets: Ivysaur, Bayleef, Grovyle, Dewott, Braixen.

If you mean better competitively, Dusclops is way more useful than Dusknoir as a trick room setter. Porygon2 similarly has a different niche than Z, but I wouldn't say it's necessarily better.
