I've had more luck in the two months I've been online dating as a trans girl than I did in the years of online dating trying to pass myself off as a boy.
Which is to say I've been texting with the one woman for a month and a half.

Only if you are on equal or greater footing then them in terms of degrees and income. Women overwhelmingly don't date down, which is why there are so many single women in their 30s wondering why they are alone. There has been a ton of articles and research on this.

it's not bad. I mean you can date women/men in your twenties too, so your pool isn't limited.

Second, it all comes down to experience. The older you are, the more people expect you have experience, and they will know what they want and expect you to have your shit together and look and act presentable. So it could be a double edged sword if you are in your 30s and have like never been in a serious relationship.You just have to put yourself out there. Take it seriously like looking for job seriously. Polish your online dating profile don't be a creep and go on dates. Might go through several single dates until you find someone you get into a serious relationship with. Either way, you gain experience every time. And if someone wants to talk over the phone before meeting (women in particular), just get that over with first.

I fall into this category but I lived in New York for my whole 22 years of life and just recently flew to San Antonio to be with someone, and we're moving to Austin soon, can I be exempt from the "you might as well be single" list
