i usually keep a little over a third* of the slider bar. lower battery drain, easier on the eyes, and less burn-in on the screen

Usually 0% at home, but that's mostly at night. Outside I have to be near Max, and maybe even AT Max on a really sunny day. But in doors, as low as possible.
