Yes, topic title isn't as clear as I wanted to be. Apologies if it confused anyone.

All tournament organizers regardless of size have to get a license from Capcom, either by satisfying and agreeing to this community license or by getting a separate esports license
2. To qualify for a community license, total event prize pools and revenue from sponsors must be under thresholds that many existing events will likely go over
3. TOs cant charge spectator fees or sell merchandise based on SFV names, logos, and art
4. Capcom gets the right to use stream footage and any photos or videos from the tournament
5. TOs can use an asset pack from Capcom to advertise the event, as long as they abide by Capcoms style guide
6. This only applies to TOs in North America, Central America, and South America (EDIT: Capcom also put up an identical license applying to Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, so this all applies there as well)

$2,000 prize pool per event seems like a joke but someone said you can get a higher prize pool by paying for an eSports license from Capcom or something?

This just sounds like people are going to stop having SFV at their tournaments. Why put up with all of this headache when you could just use other games? They're banking a little too hard on the importance of Street Fighter to the FGC.

Also SF6 is dead on arrival if they actually start sending out cease and desist letters to tournaments and stuff.

"The prize pool for the Event must be set and clearly disclosed in advance of the Event in the Event in the Event Rules (see Section III below) and must be under $2,000 USD per Event."

Does that prohibit the common "percentage of entry fee" prize pools?
