Honestly I would love physical fighting to be more encouraged to settle matters, disputes, or problems

I used to see fights all the time in my airport days when people had problems with each other when I worked the baggage department. Also used to see it in the Amazon warehouses as well.

Pretty sure there were a couple in the backroom when I worked retail but never on days I was working

Some guy threw a shake at a coworker when I worked in fast food. The guy was able to walk away and went out back to calm down. The guy who threw the shake went and found him and kept messing with him, so my coworker beat the shit out of him.

3X all between customers.

If customers count there was a time when two dudes got into it in the parking lot.

I didn't see it myself, but the manager and the 2IC of the nightfill department at the store I had my first job at, got fired for getting into a fight with each other.

The manager was a dick, but everyone was sad to see the 2IC go.

I used to work as security at a locked emergency psychiatric facility. The place where cops bring all their 5150's. People in the middle of a psychotic break or fucked up from a 5 day meth binge without sleep, suicidal, etc. We did get some voluntaries but most were on a hold.

We had to fight with patients on a regular basis. There were three of us and male nursing staff would help out when shit got crazy. We'd wrestle to the floor, drag them into a room and strap them to a bed so the nurse could give them a shot in the ass and knock them out. They'd wake up 8 to 10 hours later in a much more cooperative state of mind.

Two of my managers actually had to be held back at Foot Locker some years ago. It was towards closing time and I barely remember what the fight was over, but it was a surprise it ever got that far and maybe even more surprising nothing happened to either person.

So one time I was working at Amazon warehouse and my ex manager told me I was incompetent and worthless, so grabbed my manager and did a fireman carry slam onto some boxes, then told him I quit.

No I'm 6'4" and 290lb and give off just enough of a vibe so people never mess with me

Never any physical fights, but when I worked at a police station (no, I'm not an officer), we had several homeless people that would come in and cause a scene. It sucks because the best they could do was put them on a 5150 hold. After that they were back on the street.

I had a coke head threaten me at an old kitchen job when I was a teenager. which turned into a pretty tense verbal altercation but it never came to blows.

All the time as a bartender.

Almost when I agreed to take it outside when a coworker asked. A manager stopped it before it happened. The other worker was transferred but later quit.

I had to draw my blade on a coworker once (I am a security guard but I asked them if I could carry a katana instead of mace and they were cool with it).

He was trying to steal chocolate from a Godiva display at the mall we were working on a night shift. He was saying how "the common mab deserves a little fucking bit of chocolate" and how it was basically owed to him. He ate one and I warned him not to do it again. He tried reaching for another but I hit his fingers with the blunt side of my blade and told him next time it wouldn't be the blunt side.

Yea I worked 3rd shift from 2002 to 2008.

Seen some shit go down after 2:00 AM.

Yes between residents with dementia. Never seen one between staff
