That's where you were wrong TC. The old generation is superior. Thus, being in it is better.

That's like saying a 720p for v os superior to a 4k tv. You can do everything you can do on the 720p tv, except with better performance and visuals. The argument for if it's worth the extra money would ve the debatable part. It's not debatable if it's superior tho.

The 4k TV would be more expensive and less portable while offering no advantages to the previous generation. If anything it would make it worse.

I'm not huge on having the best of the best stuff. I was basically pushed into caring about ps5 early on. But you're just straight up in denial or something >_>. Being a minimalist is respectable. But it takes a blow when you just look like ignorance is the reason why you're a minimalist....

So, would you argue loading all your games in a fraction of the time isn't a plus? Would you argue playing them with more consistent FPS isn't a plus?

I have a Gamecube too. It doesn't prevent me from also having a ps5 tho.

The X1X is actually a bit more powerful than the Series S, but they dont make them anymore. The S is now just an upgrade from the standard Xbox One, but not real close to the Series X.

But the X1X also has the inferior hard-drive and stuff, so all the QoL improvements from the new gen are present on the XSS and not the 1X.

I'd get one if it had a disc drive. But the cost of additional storage and replacing all my disc based games means I'd be just as well getting the Series X in regards to cost. But I suppose "has a big library of old physical games he wants to keep" probably isn't the target audience. It's kids and people who want fifa and Call of Duty.
