But it's an uber masculine virgin man who is trying desperately to get his end away with an unobtainable girl (the movies dropped this motivation) and does so by traveling the universe and enslaving beautiful sexy furious women to be his loyal "daughters" who obey his every beck and call or else are punished.

I mean I don't get how you can even deny the subtext. It's pretty blatant. There's a reason why it's Thanos' daughters and not Thanos' Children.
