Close to it. I remember reading that it was around 750 USD or something months ago. Granted they do go on discount regularly (Cause that's the only way they will sell) but only for like half off ever if you're lucky

After checking it's up to 854 2 months ago. This will make it damn near 1000

To be fair to the Sims you dont have to get any of the DLC and you dont miss much. Their big updates are always free too. The game has been constantly updated for 8 years. There's going to be a lot to purchase
