His legacy is already shot so it doesnt really matter. He gets paid $1-2 million per day to shoot these garbage movies and he only works on them for 2 days. So around $4 mil for 40 hours (yeah they do like 20 hour days on these films). A pretty good deal for next to no work for Bruce Willis.

Nicolas Cage is an artist though regardless of how you feel about his work. He puts his heart and soul into almost everything he does.

Is there any basis to any of these theories? I don't think it's that weird he's starring in low effort trash.

He's barely on set for these movies and they have a short turnaround time. Big movies are more IP focused than star focused these days so he's probably making more money doing this than waiting for good movies that probably won't pay him at the same scale when it comes to his time spent.

Im watching Cosmic Sin now. Hes in the movie more than I was expecting and hes wearing a comical mech suit.

I think the theory that something is wrong with Bruce might actually have some merit to it. It looks likeh he's spending most of this movie sitting down and he doesn't sound the same as he used to. Like he's talking slower. There is a rumor he gets his lines fed through an earpiece now and I can see that being the case here maybe.

I'm so curious about the people behind these movies. Like is there some newbie director who is stoked to have a big celebrity who inspired them to be in their movie? Only to get smacked down to reality when these guys don't give a shit about the movie to the point where the director has to fill in scenes with stand-ins.

Or are these guys also just in there for the easy money and know that has-been stars are an easy way to get eyes on the movie. Like these movies will make more money because of these Razzie noms now.

Apparently he shoots all his scenes in a couple days and often he isnt physically with other actors.

I don't know. I have to imagine the market for "out of shape bald white men needed to face away from a camera while out of focus" is probably pretty saturated.

Midnight in the Switchgrass surprisingly wasnt terrible. It almost felt like a real movie.

Tbf, I follow the digital movies community pretty closely, and Bruce Willis stuff is one of the most sought out stuff on release unless there's an actual big VOD theatrical release. Probably how they recoup the money.
