To this day I do not understand the allure of Super Mario Galaxy 2. The first one did everything better tbh

Id say 3 was the peak then slowly downhill. It died after 5

Oh. I started at 3 on GH and after that, it seemed like they stopped trying to fine songs that were fun to play and instead just put it songs certain people liked. The solo's in songs immediately became an afterthought

The first one on the list is Persona 3 Portable, followed by Dragon Quest IX

Kinda cool that something like Pac-Man manages to stay relevant and fun after all these years without changing up the core game all that much.

The setlist in 3 was fun but 2 was definitely my favorite. A lot of the songs in 3 weren't that difficult and there wasn't any standout song that was a true challenge from what I can remember. Since you could port the songs from the previous games it wasn't an issue but if you only had 3 standalone then I can see where it might not have been as fun.

I mean, it is a game that would get easier the more of them you play. But, my point was just that there was a decent solo on every song except a few in the main setlist. Then 4, you were constantly playing songs that felt like When You Were Young. Which was a break song on 3 with no solo. Only song I perfected on 3.

3 still had mostly fun songs to play. Regardless of if it was less difficult than 2 overall. I can't comment on that from personal experience or second hand insight. It wasn't even on the Wii, which was what I got the controllers for.
