I witnessed racism first hand. Im white and my black co-worker and I were smoking a joint in my car after work in the parking lot and suddenly the big spotlight of a cop car is on us. They say step out of the car please and when I go to open my door they say not you, HIM.

And holy shit the difference in how they treated us. With me they were like Cmon kid, we wont arrest you for having the stuff but we will arrest you for lying and with him they were like WE KNOW YOU FUCKING HAVE IT! WHERE IS IT! DID YOU THROW IT SOMEWHERE! GIVE US THE WEED OR YOURE GOING TO FUCKING JAIL.

So I managed to pass their sobriety test even though I was high as Hell and they arrested him because they found his little box where the weed was though it was empty. He didnt snitch that I was smoking too, he just claimed he told me it was a regular cigarette. So yeah I ended up bailing him out that night and I think he just got a misdemeanor or something, but FUCK it was this close to billy clubs and guns.

Yes. He wanted to show me that someone smashed in my tail light. He just wanted to let me know that i needed it fixed.

I thanked him and that was about it. Got a replacement from a junkyard for like 20 bucks and fixed it myself in 5 minutes.

Yes, highway patrol had me sit in the passenger seat as they finished my ticket.

I was a little scared in my case but not excessively because I knew I had done nothing wrong other than speed. I was on my way back from a rock climbing trip so we all looked like a bunch of druggies in pajamas. They pulled me over for going 80 in a 65 and asked me to step out. He actually had me get in the front seat of the car just to show me what he was doing because I was clearly nervous. He asked if I had drugs or anything in the car, I said no. He had me open the trunk and basically he just gave a big sniff and half hearted shuffling of a few bags without dumping anything out. Gave me a ticket and went on my way.
