I was depressed, my Mom's health was shaky, I withdrew from social media, and I had started working more and growing closer with her friend, so I was a bit uncomfortable with handling that.

And yeah, this all started with a picture of her bare ass and she immediately launches into the heavy shit after we chat back and forth.

Maybe you and Jeff are right in that it could've been leveraged into a meetup, though that wasn't a thing I really cared about tbh.

And as for an in-person convo on anything, I don't really know this girl well and don't have much drive towards her rn so it wasn't worth my time lol.

Yep, "in-person" is good advice. I dated a very moody girl in the past, and no matter how hard I tried, I could never even once talk her down via text, lol. We'd talk back and forth for an hour and she'd respond to what I said, but basically ignored all of it.

Fast-forward to my wife. She gets upset at people once in awhile - not at me, family, co-workers, herself. Same track record, lol. In person I can talk her down fairly well, via text, none of it even registers. That's just how it is.
