Wouldn't surprise me in some cheap states. Even the good UCs here in CA pay 20-30k/year max, and the COL is outrageous in those cities. Things seem to be trending better though, with more grad student unions winning fights and some schools (albeit private ones like Princeton) voluntarily increasing stipends. --- The artist formerly known as RebelElite791 ...
