I make $16 currently, doing armed security. Been here 8 years

Interviewing at this fried chicken bar, thats paying $21/hr plus tips. For a shift leader/key holder position.

The actual kitchen manager makes 55k, with the GM making like 60k. So itd be cool to have some opportunity to grow into one of those positions.

I have served before, and did fast food for 8 years, but never worked in a bar atmosphere.

Never thought Id be working with food again, but hope it works out

You've been in your current position for 8 years. Isn't there some pathway to management there? You probably know the ins and outs of the business more than your bosses at this point

Seems like it would be a more enjoyable position than a fried chicken bar tbh

How many fools have you had to tackle?

The company I work for just went though a merger, and were now the third largest employer in the US.

but its been nothing but problems since that happened.

most recently my check was short $300, and this is the third time theyve messed up my pay lol

Honestly not much. Maybe 5 in 8 years. I work at a municipal court, but the police station is connected to the same building

so it stays quiet
