He should have stayed with one team.

Jeter outclasses him in that regard.

That would be true if he didn't win a Superbowl with the other team. But he did, so he is the GOAT.

Good for him - especially to retire as the incumbent Super Bowl champion.

Man o' War is the GOAT!

But Jeter staying with one team, is the better legacy, as compared to Brady.
Brady should have walked into the sunset.

I dont think he gets to hold that distinction when hes been eliminated from the playoffs this year. Yeah, a new champ hasnt been crowned yet, but he completed a follow up season without winning the title.

I don't get why staying with one team is some sort of accomplishment? He could've stayed with NE and continued winning championships there, but he instead went to a COMPLTELY different team and won a championship there. He shut down all of the haters that questioned if Brady could win without Belichick. That's a far more impressive feat.

He went to a different team and brought all the star players with him lol.

Leaving the Pats on a high note would definitely be a cooler legacy than ending on a loss with the Bucs.

Yeah, I guess that's technically true. It's not like he retired immediately after he won last year. I still give him a lot of credit for more or less retiring on his own terms.

Wow, who knew that you need good players to win championships. It's almost as if EVERY superstar in EVERY sport throughout history has had star players with them during their dynasties.

And that's false. If he stayed with NE people would have always said that Brady was a product of Belichick's system. That was his number 1 criticism back in NE, and he promptly shut them up by winning with a new team. That is a superior feat that only a select few superstars have accomplished.

I think he is good.
I just do respect the stay with one team thing.
I am not actually a hater.

Staying with one team, and being that good throughout, is really something special.

~I'm not taking away what he's done though.

I'd rather my team's owner spend stupid money to the luxury tax rather than a cheap owner like the Marlins or Orioles who give absolutely no fucks about the team.
