It would have modern 3d graphics on par with WoW or FF14

You start your character in a starting town of any of the existing Regions. Like if you pick the Red Blue region (I forget the name) you start in Pallet Town

But there are different paths you can take in development. For one thing you can go to any region in the world. Also, you can join any of the Evil Teams through recruitment questlines. Once you join a Team, you can do pvp against non evil team players or rival teams. Also there would be raids. Picture this

A guild plans a raid on a Legendary Pokmon. You would see like 50 trainers standing in a row near the Legendary's home. Each trainer with a Pokmon in front of them. Then on command from the raid leader, every trainer has their Pokmon move in to attack

I could try. I haven't played DnD in many years. And never over the internet. But I would give it a shot

No, because it would be a kiddie game where you cant freely socialize or interact with people outside of whatever preset messages and emotes they put in the game.

@OVERGOATED I'd play, I have plenty of experience playing IRL and various forms of online.

I'd be interested, but in my current life there's not really enough time to play an MMO. So it would have to be a game that isn't meant to be played as much as say WoW or FF14. But I could also see how it would be really bad.
