im training this 60+ year old lady and she just cant learn shit, and that is fine, im willing to work with her no matter how slow she is but goddamn she gives me an attitude and lowkey blames me for everything and nothing is her fault.

so i give up, she is now just stuck standing up scanning and copying records and im not teaching her any thing else, ill just get someone else to learn my stuff so when i leave someone can cover for me, and ill have them give their stuff to her everything they dont feel like doing. i cant deal with this old lady anymore.

Out of nearly a decade in my field, one trainee said I was "mansplaining". She quit right after her 2 weeks orientation period finished.

Trying to train people to work from home for the past 2 years has me mentally numb now.

ugh, i hate this.

its REALLY common for a higherup/supervisor to relay really basic/common knowledge just to make sure everyone is on the same page. people tell me s*** i already know all the time but I just nod my head and understand theyre just covering their bases

but some people call it "mansplaining" and get SO butthurt its ridiculous

I mean, you can just communicate better. If people think you are mansplaining, something is going wrong, and assuming that the other person is the issue wouldn't be my default.

Yeah, as a Supervisor, they're required to assess, intervene, evaluate, and document properly. Everyone else appreciated "spoon-feeding" all the info I have from actual experience.

I work in a factory about 30 miles outside of Saint Louis, so I get a ton of redneck types. Which is fine, whatever, I'm a city dude and they aren't. I can get alone with mostly anyone. Every once in a while though I get to train some crazy ass conservative nutjob types. My current favorite is a dude who is former military, hates government (specifically the federal reserve) and is convinced that COVID isn't real and the Vaccine is some sort of government plot to do something horrible. Like that's great dude, just don't fuck up the thing you are working on.
