you can breeze through the game with certain animal companions and a gun that lets you shoot through walls

that's my biggest problem with it, nothing was challenging, nothing was rewarding, it became very boring, predictable, and tedious

That gun requires a supremo and its inefficient based on how easy the game is.

Just throw a perception grenade and headshot things.

That guns also is from a side quest around the entire map and has low ammo as well...

The next game needs to be more like far cry 2. Get rid of the stupid animal sidekicks, one of the dumbest things they've added in far cry.

Theyre op af. You can just send them in to kill everyone in a base one by one and theyll allow it.

New Dawn had an animal companion that could automatically resurrect itself if it died, you could literally just command him to go into an outpost and he would take the whole thing without any further action on your part, and it would count as a stealth takeover lol

Im having fun with it. Im on ps4. But you are op af....

oh, i also fucking hate how you can't get any resolver weapon ammo off enemies you kill. the big ammo trays that fill everything are fairly rare, and you can't even enjoy things like the CD gun because it's weaker than a pistol with AP rounds, and has no ammo. meanwhile said pistol ammo is among the most plentiful in the game. they just didn't think about anything, nothing's balanced, supremos are pointless, it exists to facilitate the player in checking off a bunch of timesink icons on the map, and 2 is still my favorite for what it is

also the co-op special ops missions fucking suck

it's not fun if it's so easy it makes you wonder why you're even playing it. apparently i made the mistake of assuming you thought being OP af was a bad thing, not a good thing

reasonable challenge is stimulating. no challenge at all for a shooter about overthrowing an entire military regime? okay.

i mean hell, the least they could do is give you a difficulty setting, but i don't remember seeing anything

Make the enemies not be bullet sponges and dont make me repair my car constantly and Im in. Oh also weapons should last longer.

are the enemies still spawning out of thin air when you get detected

Yes. Theres literally a difficulty setting but youre still op.

Theres a ton of challenging games so im sure you can just go play one of those.

Though i doubt you played FC games if youre looking for a challenge...

So youre saying finding a challenge in FC is challenging?

But im saying the game hasnt been challenging since FC2. Why are you looking here for challenge?

the challenge has been fine in older games, i never felt like i straight up didn't have to try until 6. you'd think with all the new gadgets, supremos, resolver weapons and so on, the enemies would have some sort of equipment or behavior that encourages you to use them, but nah, all you need is armor piercing rounds and either an emp or explosive.

the only good resolver weapon, the fireworks one, is also a problem because it completely invalidates every other weapon. why would you ever use anything else when it's full auto, homing, and even tanks can't survive a single burst? it's so over the top that it completely trivializes every encounter in the game

I think most people expect some degree of challenge from the games they play. It's not exactly a controversial opinion, lol

When did you try in 3, 4, 5, ND or BD?

Theyre easy af with less options.

Lol. When the last 5 games were easy youd think theyd look elsewhere.

I mean, depending on if you wanted to perfect a stronghold or whatever at max stars or some other situation it could get kinda frustrating.

Same with some of those challenge missions with the chopper dude in new dawn.
