Smaller bodies, ripe for the spread of a virus. If it doesn't get under control then babies won't be able to survive. It would necessitate better male contraception which is what we've needed for a long time.

What

If the virus changes to a variant that's more lethal, more contagious, etc. and it's in the air all around and pretty much unavoidable then babies will be more at risk and we'd become an infertile species because there would be few to no babies surviving.

I can't break it down anymore than this, sorry.

Babies got through bubonic plague, smallpox, polio, and other shit. Sure millions of them died but categorizing this as some kind of end of humanity is really misguided. If you're worried about humanity going extinct it's most likely going to come from climate change.

Posting speculation as fact? There's some science on babies, and there probably isn't such thing as enough, but I don't think this is it.

While we're here, does anyone get why they didn't apply for emergency authorization for babies? I know it seemed like too small a dose for like 2-5, but it worked fine for babies, right?

The point is that bacteria multiply incredibly rapidly and if humanity knew enough about biology, and were willing to actually take the steps and not be careless, then the virus would be gone already. I'm not saying Omicron will kill us. I'm saying be prepared for the POSSIBILITY of a much more deadly evolution. I've been wary to this ever since my microbiology class when my professor taught me that bacteria are evolving beyond the utility of antibiotics because people stop taking their antibiotics after they stop being sick. But they're supposed to take them for up to two weeks beyond that point because the bacteria are still in them multiplying and evolving rapidly but in a smaller volume. So they can cough and kiss and do whatever to spread this bacteria so that they live on and continue to evolve rapidly. Bill Gates has warned us about this too. YEEEAAP. Bill Gates. Try to keep the conversation away from Bill Gates and on biology. Thanks.

Unborn babies, yes, but apparently not from COVID itself.

There have been reports across social media for months now from many women regarding irregular periods after receiving the shot (vaccine for COVID), and pregnant women who received the shot, and then miscarried or had other complications with their placenta.

Unfortunately, many of the women experiencing these circumstances are being abused, attacked, and censored, being accused of causing vaccine hesitancy for simply sharing their experiences.

Covid itself doesnt appear to target children/toddlers/infants like it does the elderly or mid-life adults. I want to say the average age of someone who dies from COVID was around the mid 70s last time I looked, and out of those older cases of death, they had on average like 4 co-morbiditiesmaybe more.

Anyways, I disagree that children and babies are at risk. I dont think Ive really seen/heard of any cases of babies being sick or dying. All this despite the fact that newborn babies supposedly have far weaker immune systems than their adult counterparts.

Evolution works because of random mutation. I don't think it's responsible to assume that the virus can't evolve into something more lethal or contagious in ways that haven't been expressed by the current variants.

Yes, however evolutionary biology has taught us that viruses become more contagious and less deadly over time, because a virus that kills its hosts cannot propagate further. Its main goal is to spread and continue living, mutating to spread further, not mutating to kill more.

Matter of fact, if you go to google and use the advanced search to only get results prior to December 2019, its easy to find many many doctors and scientists confirming this idea.i

During the pandemic theyve kind of went back and made shit up to fit the narrative, even going so far as to change several medical definitions to fit the narrativeand this wasnt done out of necessity either, it was done to trick and lie to people, and make the narrative appear to make sense, even if it doesnt.

Yes but at the time they hit us the hardest we didn't have shit. The black death killed a hundred of million people in a few years during a time when population was much lower than it is now and humanity is still here.

COVID is pretty fucking tame compared to the shit we survived historically.

I've never heard of that but it really does make a lot of sense. However, as I'm not stating this as fact and only as a sort of warning to keep people on alert I don't think there's a problem with the message. Sure, if a virus kills off its hosts then it can't propagate further, but perhaps it could be deadly to humans and not deadly to certain animals and still spread. Perhaps the virus could evolve to kill its hosts, but randomly mutate within a host to a less deadlier form and continue to live on that way.

@COVxy thinks that was the nail in the coffin because he's a mediocre scientist. He has no imagination. I'm Willy Wonka. And yes, I do know you. I'm the guy who you said couldn't get a PhD in neuroscience. And you're right. I quit that and went into game design because I couldn't live with having so many ideas and not the funding/power to do research. And it was also sort of awkward to find out there were so many Christians involved in biology.

So what do you have to say about that idea? Can it not leap to another animal, evolve to stay within those hosts peacefully, yet still be able to leap to humans and be deadly to them? I wouldn't count it out. Doesn't seem very thoughtful.

No, I don't think I do lack the background. It's a dangerous road to just go around saying experts shouldn't be challenged or that non-experts can't speak on things. It's also dangerous to not trust experts when they say they know something for a fact. There's a middle ground there that doesn't involve silencing people and surrendering freedom of speech.

It's also dumb to say people can't express a hypothesis or to discourage scientific discussion.

Why isn't it testable? You can't test all the animals, but you can test different mammals that are similar to humans. That's why we have lab rats and mice. Perhaps they aren't the ones who should be tested though. Maybe we ought to test animals that are a bit removed from mammals and could support an environment that would allow the virus to change so much that it would be deadly to us if it were to leap back to a human again. I'm not sure about that. Are you educated at all on biology?

I don't know everything. You seem to want me to know everything before I say anything though. I'm not the one here trying to turn people away from possible danger...

Still waiting on America's top scientist to respond about my hypothesis about the other animals contracting the virus.
