You can actually see the craters from google's sat view. Bonus, you can see Prinz Eugen's stern and props jutting up next to the Marshall islands (also visible from satellite), and pretty sure Nagato sank near by as well, as both were used as nuclear test targets. Prinz Eugen was the German heavy cruiser that escorted Bismarck on the famed pursuit that resulted in the destruction of both Hood and Bismarck. Nagato was the first Imperial Japanese battleship with 16.1" rifles, and pretty much the only battleship to 'survive' the war.
